Oslo Kommune, Norway’s largest municipality, needed a way for its Fire Department and Fire Prevention Bureau inspectors to work with roughly 5,500 fire objects in the field—adding building data, documenting deviations and taking photos to include in reports stored in their MS DYN CRM 2011 system. They were looking for a mobile solution such as Resco Mobile CRM to bring the CRM into the field and streamline inspections.

Resco implemented Resco Mobile CRM (using the Woodford app configurator and integration with Documents Core Pack) to mobilize Oslo Kommune’s CRM, allowing easy GUI customization, photo capture and report merging. The solution proved intuitive for users, simple to administer, and saved significant time—letting inspectors spend more time with customers and increase preventive fire-safety work.
