How Janssen-Fritsen found the right mobile solution with reliable sync and offline mode

Janssen-Fritsen, a division of ABEO and the Netherlands’ largest manufacturer of physical-education equipment, needed a modern mobile inspection app after their legacy solution suffered slow loading, frequent crashes and poor offline behavior in locations like jails and border areas. They sought a fast-sync, easy-to-use mobile solution for inspectors and the back office and evaluated Resco’s offerings, including Field Service 2.0 for Dynamics 365 and Mobile Sales for Dynamics 365.

Resco, with implementation support from HSO, delivered a custom Resco-based mobile app that provides reliable offline mode, faster synchronization and a single place to manage work orders, scheduling, inspections, photos and reports. The switch eliminated paper forms, cut internal emails, improved reliability (no more frequent crashes), supported better preventive maintenance that reduced CO2 impact, and was rolled out to their Belgian branch in April 2023.
