Grupo Catalana Occidente - Customer Case Study

Grupo Catalana Occidente, one of Spain’s largest insurance groups with over 4 million customers and a 20,000‑strong agent network, needed mobile access to its Microsoft Dynamics CRM (which holds ~30 million records and more than 1.2 million active business records) so field agents could view and update customer and opportunity data offline and across different mobile platforms. To meet requirements for offline capability, responsiveness, scalability and integration with SharePoint/Outlook, Grupo Catalana Occidente chose Resco’s Resco Mobile CRM, implemented with partner Prodware Spain SA.

Resco delivered a customized Resco Mobile CRM app integrated with Microsoft Dynamics CRM; about 200 sales agents (and growing) use the app to consult and update opportunities, calendar activities and customer records from any device, with offline sync, two tailored app versions for usability and credential security, and custom entities for contracts and teams. The Resco solution increased mobility and productivity by enabling real‑time client consultations during visits, sped up access to sales data, supported iOS and Android devices, and simplified ongoing customizations and support.
