Korean Enterprise LSIS Adopts Rescale for CAE and CAD

LSIS, a Korean enterprise, needed a more effective and reliable way to support CAE and CAD for its engineers without the high upfront cost of building a private HPC data center. After comparing public cloud options, the company turned to Rescale’s cloud HPC platform to help deliver always-available simulation access for in-house users.

Rescale provided LSIS with an on-demand, pay-per-use CAE cloud environment that supports software such as ANSYS, STAR-CCM+, and Abaqus, along with cloud-based pre- and post-processing. LSIS said Rescale would help reduce capital spending, shorten product development schedules, and improve product quality; the company planned to roll it out to all CAE engineers, then extend it to CAD and PLM on the cloud as well.
