AZothBio Accelerates New Drug Discovery Using Deep Learning on Rescale

AZothBio, a Seoul-based bio‑pharmaceutical startup using deep learning and genome analytics to discover immunotherapeutics, faced compute limits when their on‑premises hardware could not scale for high‑fidelity simulations and epitope prediction. To meet these needs they turned to Rescale’s cloud HPC‑as‑a‑Service platform, using pre‑installed tools (AutoDock Vina and in‑house Python AI codes) and best‑fit GPU instances (NVIDIA V100) to run their complex, custom applications.

Rescale onboarded and optimized AZothBio’s workflows on AWS, providing scalable GPU hardware, end‑to‑end automation, and reduced IT overhead. As a result AZothBio cut analysis time from about 5 days to under 24 hours, achieved more than 2× faster results, and accelerated lead identification and genome/peptide discovery—enabling faster R&D decisions and ongoing deployment of new AI models with Rescale.
