Woodforest National Bank, a large retail bank with more than 750 branches, needed a better way to manage identity and access after outgrowing its slow, hard-to-maintain IAM system. The bank relied on manual processes and scripts for onboarding, transfers, and offboarding, which made changes slow, complex, and difficult to manage at scale. RES Software helped Woodforest replace that fragmented approach with a more agile, centralized automation platform.
RES Software implemented RES ONE Identity Director to streamline process automation and identity management across the bank’s environment. The result was a deployment in less than eight weeks, with onboarding/offboarding reduced from 3–5 days to about 10–20 minutes, and automation rising to 90% from about 30%. Woodforest also improved security, auditability, and cost control, and now most new employees can start work the next morning after HR updates flow through the system.
