City of Deventer Empowers Workers with RES ONE™ Workspace

City of Deventer, a municipality in the Netherlands with 1,500 employees, needed a more flexible and secure way for staff to work across locations and devices. Working with RES Software, the city was moving away from an older Windows Vista environment where employees were tied to personal PCs and had limited mobility.

RES Software implemented RES ONE Workspace as part of a virtualized Windows 7 and VMware View VDI environment, enabling centralized control of user access, apps, and profiles. The result was 1,300 users managing access to more than 900 apps and objects from one location, with better license compliance, faster IT response times, and more time for innovation instead of manual PC support.
