A RES Software Case Study
SAAone, a consortium building one of the Netherlands’ largest highway projects, faced a complex IT challenge: around 400 project-based workers from many subcontractors needed fast onboarding and offboarding across a highly varied device and Citrix environment. With high turnover and strict compliance needs, SAAone needed a way to standardize access and reduce repetitive manual IT work, and turned to RES Software and its RES ONE Service Store.
RES Software implemented RES ONE Service Store to automate role-based onboarding, offboarding, password resets, and other routine requests through integration with HR and existing systems. The results were significant: onboarding and offboarding dropped from three weeks to 50 minutes, audits fell from four to five weeks to two weeks, and HR saved a full day per week on registrations. SAAone also grew from about 30 apps and services to more than 200, achieved full ROI in three months, and reduced IT staffing needs from 3.5 FTEs to 2 for network management and from 2 FTEs to 0.6 for workplace management.
