Requirement Specification and Tender Management for Naviair’s Integrated Tower Operating System

Naviair, a government agency providing air traffic control in Danish airspace, needed a cost-efficient solution to gather and manage the roughly 1,000 requirements for its new Integrated Tower Operating System (NITOS). The challenge was to standardize this process and handle the subsequent distribution and evaluation of requests for proposal (RFPs) from multiple suppliers for this critical project.

RequirementONE was implemented to manage the entire requirement and tender process. The platform enabled the team to generate a 90-page RFP in minutes and efficiently evaluate up to 8,000 answers from four suppliers. This provided Naviair with a clear overview of each requirement and vendor, resulting in substantial time savings, improved control over the process, and significant cost reductions by consolidating information from various sources.
