Acando, a leading consultancy with about 1,000 employees and operations in Sweden, the USA, South America and beyond, needed a way to manage large, complex, distributed development projects—coordinating requirements, testing and bug tracking across multiple countries and teams while working in an Agile delivery model. Acando began using ReQtest in September 2011 and currently has 55 employees using the tool in day‑to‑day operations to address those challenges.

ReQtest was implemented first as a bug‑reporting module and then as a full solution for requirements, test management and defect tracking, allowing Acando to run the entire Agile project out of the tool. ReQtest improved cross‑border collaboration (teams in Sweden, USA, South America and Finland), simplified regression testing and progress tracking with clear status values, and made requirements authoring and commenting easy for the business side; adoption by 55 users in a little over a year and strong positive feedback from experienced testers demonstrate the measurable impact ReQtest delivered.
