Aspect-based Sentiment Analysis Model for Pena Global & AARP

Pena Global, a business consulting and corporate training firm, needed a comprehensive sentiment-analysis solution for a project with AARP to understand opinions about existing diet programs and apps for people over 50. They engaged Repustate to provide an aspect-based sentiment analysis (ABSA) approach to extract granular voice-of-the-customer insights from surveys, Twitter, and other comment data.

Repustate built a customized ABSA model that parsed survey responses and Twitter data to score sentiment on aspects such as money, convenience, recipes, results, and motivation, and identified common words, phrases, and semantic correlations. Repustate’s analysis delivered actionable, aspect-level insights that directly informed AARP’s design of a diet program for older adults, giving Pena Global and AARP clearer, data-driven guidance for program decisions.
