Real-time Approval For Remote Employees

The Finance Project is a Washington, D.C.–based non-profit (founded 1994) that provides research, technical assistance, consulting and training to public- and private-sector leaders on financing strategies for children, families and communities. Frequent traveler staff were submitting paper timesheets and expense reports that administrators rekeyed into spreadsheets, resulting in errors, time-consuming leave calculations, repeated timesheet rework, slow approval cycles and delayed financial statements.

The Finance Project implemented Replicon’s Web TimeSheet to allow online, remote timesheet entry and manager approvals, automated leave balances and accruals, and system-generated reminders. The change reduced errors and administrative effort, sped up approvals and monthly financial-statement production, and let employees view time-off balances independently—saving staff hours and cutting processing costs.
