Flight Centre Reduces Time Off Reporting by 50 Percent

Flight Centre, a major Canadian travel agency network with more than 220 agencies and over 1,000 employees operating through 170 independent business units, faced an unsustainable absence-management process: each unit tracked vacation and sick time on spreadsheets, producing inconsistent, error-prone data that couldn’t be reconciled with centralized payroll and forced managers and accountants to spend excessive time chasing and correcting records.

Flight Centre implemented Replicon TimeOff, a cloud-based solution with online approvals and reporting. Reporting time was cut from four days to two, saving about 80 accountant hours per month, preserving accounting headcount, improving data accuracy and forecasting, and giving managers advance visibility for better capacity planning while freeing staff for higher-value work.
