Case Study: VTrips achieves multi-state growth and higher occupancy with Rentals United

A Rentals United Case Study

Preview of the VTrips Case Study

VTrips - Customer Case Study

VTrips, a Florida-based vacation rental manager with 1,800 properties across five states and 14 offices, needed to scale distribution and integrate dozens of acquisitions while centralizing technology and accounting. Rather than build in-house software, VTrips relies on best-of-breed third-party systems and channel managers — including Rentals United — to connect its platform to major OTAs and niche sites.

Using API feeds and channel management from partners like Rentals United to push inventory to Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia and regional niche sites, VTrips moved from mostly offline bookings to roughly 70% online, improving occupancy and enabling tighter ADR control. Rentals United’s channel-management approach helped VTrips scale distribution across its 1,800 units, boost OTA contributions (with notable growth on Booking.com, Expedia and Airbnb) and capture significant niche-site revenue (about 10% of OTA business).
