Lakeview Manor Nursing Home saves 16 tons of cooling with RenewAire

Lakeview Manor Nursing Home was struggling to provide 100% outdoor air in an energy-efficient manner, which led to cold drafts and a failure to meet ventilation codes. To address these challenges, the nursing home turned to RenewAire and its energy recovery ventilators (ERVs).

RenewAire installed five HE2XRT ERVs to precondition incoming fresh air by recovering energy from the exhaust airstream. This solution eliminated cold drafts, enhanced indoor air quality, and simplified the HVAC system design. The project resulted in significant energy savings of 16 tons of cooling and 584,381 btu/hr of heating, while also allowing the facility to take advantage of state and utility financial incentives.
