Multinational Automotive Corporation, a German-headquartered global automaker with more than 300,000 employees, needed to better control the rapid growth and heavy customization of its Microsoft SharePoint environment while keeping collaboration secure, performant, and aligned with business needs. To gain visibility into how the platform was being used across the organization, the company engaged Rencore for a SharePoint Assessment.

Rencore performed a tool-based scan of the EMEA SharePoint farm to identify customizations, scripts, forms, workflows, and other components, then ran automated checks for security, code quality, and migration readiness. The assessment uncovered over 250 scripts from external servers on confidential sites, 2,800 more on partner-access sites, around 4,600 InfoPath forms, and about 7,000 workflows, helping the customer prioritize remediation, reduce risk, and plan modernization for Office 365.
