Case Study: Great Seneca Creek Elementary School boosts reading engagement with Renaissance myON

A Renaissance Case Study

Preview of the Woodburn School District Case Study

Supporting migrant education and family engagement

Woodburn School District partnered with Renaissance and its myON digital reading platform to support struggling readers and a growing population of English Learners. The district needed a way to keep students motivated to read while giving teachers easier access to diverse, leveled resources that could meet individual learning needs.

Using Renaissance’s myON, teachers created differentiated reading lists, students used built-in literacy tools and scaffolds, and both groups monitored real-time reading data to set goals. The case study reports strong engagement and impact, including 689 readers, 102,598 books opened, 70,531 books read, and 15,903 hours of reading, along with improved test performance—especially for English Learner students.
