A Renaissance Case Study
Saint Anthony Catholic School, a catholic school in Fort Lauderdale, sought to inspire its students to read and become lifelong learners. To meet this challenge, the school utilized Renaissance Accelerated Reader and Renaissance Star Assessments, programs funded by a private foundation.
With the Renaissance software, the school fostered a strong reading culture where students became highly engaged. The programs provided educators with actionable data to tailor instruction and measure growth. The measurable impact was significant, with students across the archdiocese's 17 schools reading a combined 187,282 books in one year, including 493 students who each read over one million words.
