Watford & West Herts Chamber of Commerce Conquering the Game of Virtual Events

Watford & West Herts Chamber of Commerce, a nontraditional, community-focused chamber led by CEO Chris Luff, faced falling engagement and video-conference fatigue as it moved events online and needed a more experiential platform to keep people coming back. To reinvent its virtual programming and maintain regular connection across the community, the Chamber selected Remo as its virtual event platform.

Remo enabled the Chamber to design custom floor plans, table-based networking, whiteboards for hands-on training, and multi-building events that foster organic conversations. Within five months on Remo the Chamber scaled to nearly 10 events a month (typically 40–50 attendees) and produced its largest virtual career fair with 300+ attendees across two concurrent buildings, while delivering better engagement and positive attendee feedback.
