Torrance Transit, a small agency in the southwest Los Angeles metro with 10 fixed routes, a 60-vehicle fleet and a 100 sq. mi. service area, faced a thin planning staff (four people) and relied on whiteboards and Excel, so meaningful network changes took too long—each scenario could take up to two months. To speed planning, Torrance Transit adopted Remix’s planning software.
