GoTriangle, the regional transit agency serving the Raleigh–Durham–Chapel Hill area, struggled to share early route ideas and collaborate — planners relied on Google Maps, AVL data and sprawling Excel tabs, which made scenario work slow and opaque, often taking a day or more. To fix this, GoTriangle adopted Remix’s transit planning platform to replace the fragmented mapping-and-spreadsheet workflow.

Using Remix, GoTriangle consolidated mapping, speed, frequency and cost data into one view, cutting scenario-planning time from about a day to roughly an hour (an 8x speedup), getting committee members up to speed in minutes, and enabling eight local agencies to collaborate on the Wake County Transit Plan. Remix’s visuals also improved public and stakeholder outreach, helping GoTriangle iterate earlier and more collaboratively.
