Jamaican MTO JMMB adds spice to its technology platform with RemitONE

The JMMB Group, a leading Jamaican money transfer operator, needed to modernize its remittance platform to support a complex send/receive, agent-based network and keep up with rapid growth in a highly competitive market. It also wanted a solution that could connect with international MTO partners, support its agent model, and minimize disruption during migration. Remit One was selected to help address these requirements with its Money Transfer Engine (MTE), Agent Remittance Manager (ARM), and Connections service.

Remit One delivered a hosted SaaS remittance platform that enabled JMMB Group to roll out a robust web-based agent system, integrate with sending MTO partners via web services, and onboard customers with minimal customization. The implementation was completed with a detailed migration and smooth training process, helping JMMB minimize disruption while building a scalable platform for growth. Since adopting the Remit One platform in 2014, JMMB has seen a significant increase in remittance volumes, while also improving compliance and reducing the burden of managing legacy systems.
