Reliant Platform Delivers Payment Environment Management and Retail Store Compliance for Hudson Group

Hudson Group, a duty-free travel retailer operating in airports and transportation venues, needed a way to meet PCI DSS requirements in its store systems without adding complexity or disrupting day-to-day operations. Working with Reliant Solutions, the company looked for a secure payment environment that could support compliance while fitting its business and store operating constraints.

Reliant Solutions moved the payment application off the POS and onto the Reliant Platform, paired it with IP-based PTS-compliant pin pad hardware, and separated payment terminals and POS systems onto different networks to reduce PCI scope. Reliant also helped Hudson Group support temporary stores, secure 3G/4G connectivity, and add capabilities like digital signage, VoIP, and wireless device management, while advancing toward omnichannel acceptance and tokenization.
