Tuko Logistics, a major Finnish grocery logistics and purchasing services provider (2010 revenue €760M, ~900 employees), operates a central warehouse and nationwide cross-docking network serving multiple retail customers. Grocery distribution’s tight freshness and service requirements, combined with each client’s unique processes and thousands of weekly campaigns and assortment changes, left Tuko’s planners manually tuning replenishment parameters and handling exceptions—a time-consuming process that limited consistency and scalability.

To address this, Tuko chose RELEX to implement an automated replenishment and advanced forecasting solution at its central warehouse. RELEX will deliver customer-specific forecasts and product-group–aware replenishment logic for fresh goods, reducing manual intervention and freeing planners to focus on exceptions. The partnership—built on prior collaboration—aims to raise service levels and freshness, lower stock levels, and provide accurate forecasts for capacity planning across Tuko’s logistics network.
