Transmeri is a Finnish family-owned importer and marketer of consumer and cosmetics brands (turnover €46M, founded 1928) operating in Finland and the Baltic countries. Its biggest challenge was manual, inconsistent sales forecasting that was time-consuming, caused supply-chain sluggishness and production delays, and limited staff from higher-value work.
Transmeri implemented RELEX’s Sales & Operations Planning solution with quantitative forecasting, automated purchase suggestions and SAP integration, which automated 95% of forecasts and improved forecast accuracy by 10 percentage points. The project rationalized processes, freed staff time, better aligned logistics and marketing, and delivered faster, more reliable planning and purchasing.
