Orum Oy Ab is a leading Finnish supplier of automotive spare parts and accessories with a stocked assortment of 90,000 products across 24 wholesale outlets and six distribution centers. Facing a large slow-moving tail and fragmented processes, Orum wanted to centralize assortment planning and automate replenishment down to the SKU–outlet level to gain better supply‑chain visibility and control.

Orum replaced its legacy E3 system with RELEX, implemented incrementally over about four months, bringing the central warehouse and all outlets onto a single platform. The solution delivered automatic order proposals and seasonal forecasting, flagged slow‑moving items, and centralized replenishment so local staff focus on customer service. Results included an 8 percentage‑point increase in availability at local outlets and a 5 point increase at DCs, a much more systematic replenishment process with reduced workload, and inventory turnover restored to pre‑rollout levels within six months and now trending upward.
