Onninen is a long-established HVAC wholesaler (founded 1913) with €1.5bn revenue, 2,900 employees and operations across Finland, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Russia and the Baltics. Faced with limitations of SAP MRP, Onninen sought a more flexible, demand-driven replenishment system with higher automation to cut central warehouse inventory and improve product availability.

RELEX’s SaaS solution was integrated and piloted within three months and then rolled out for the central warehouse. The new demand-forecasting replenishment cut inventory value by millions of euros, improved inventory turnover by 25%, lifted sales by 6% and raised product availability by 2 percentage points, while achieving a very high level of automation (under 1% of order proposals require manual change) and positive user feedback.
