Building on an existing RELEX forecasting and replenishment implementation, nemlig.com deployed RELEX’s markdown optimization (live May–Aug 2020) to automatically flag perishable overstock, recommend optimal markdowns and apply staged price reductions. The change cut planner time from 3h55m to 55m (77% efficiency gain), increased markdown product margins by 24% and reduced food waste by 45%, while giving the retailer a scalable, more proactive pricing process.
