Granngården is a nationwide Swedish retail chain in pet and gardening with 110 stores, a central DC and €182M turnover. Facing an outdated inventory system that required too much manual work, the company wanted better forecasting and order proposals, automated replenishment for seasons and campaigns, and a way to guarantee stock for both ecommerce and stores without constant central intervention.

Granngården implemented RELEX—first integrated with their legacy ERP and later with Dynamics AX—bringing automated forecasting, simulation-driven go-lives and “virtual ring‑fences” to reserve stock per channel while keeping a single inventory. The project delivered faster replenishment and campaign control, freed store staff from replenishment tasks, improved transparency and forecasting, and produced tangible gains: 7% lower store stock value, 10% lower central warehouse stock value and a 17% increase in sales.
