Expert relies on RELEX’s Full Automation

Expert ASA Oy is a Finnish home-electronics retailer (35 company stores, 15 franchised, ~400 employees) that faced fragmented, store-level ordering, short product life cycles, strong seasonal and promotional demand swings, and a very varied assortment. The company’s goals were greater replenishment automation, improved inventory/availability and more store time for sales and customer care.

Since 2011 Expert has used RELEX’s supply‑chain planning software, rolled out rapidly after a short pilot, to deliver tailored, category- and store-specific automated replenishment. Today RELEX handles 2,000–5,000 SKUs per store (including click‑and‑collect) and automates central replenishment of large items, improving availability, speeding responses to demand spikes and freeing product managers and store staff to focus on promotions and customers.
