DOUGLAS Digitizing the Omnichannel Supply Chain to Drive Availability and Cut Inventory

DOUGLAS, Europe’s leading premium beauty platform with over 130,000 products, 2,000+ stores and strong e‑commerce growth, needed to digitize its omnichannel supply chain to support rapid online expansion. The company sought an AI‑driven planning tool to replace legacy forecasting and replenishment, improve forecast accuracy, automate ordering, raise product availability and reduce inventory while enabling fast, flexible responses to market changes.

Using RELEX integrated with SAP, DOUGLAS ran a holiday season pilot and then rolled the solution out across multiple countries. Machine‑learning forecasts and automated replenishment drove 99% online forecast accuracy, 97–98% order automation, a 2% increase in omnichannel product availability and significant inventory and working‑capital reductions, enabling faster, more scalable omnichannel operations.
