Cedo closes gaps in ERP and lays the foundation for supply chain optimization

CeDo, one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of consumer household products, was in the middle of a group-wide ERP replacement when it realized the new system lacked the supply chain planning capabilities needed to support its complex, multi-site operations. The company needed to quickly close ERP gaps across demand, supply, and production planning while maintaining service levels across 6 major sites and 35 countries, so it turned to RELEX Solutions and its demand forecasting, supply chain optimization, and production scheduling tools.

RELEX Solutions helped CeDo implement end-to-end planning by rolling out demand forecasting in Germany and France, then production scheduling at factories in Poland, the UK, and Vietnam. The result was a company-wide planning process that automated much of demand planning, enabled nightly forecast refreshes, and allowed planners to manage significantly higher volumes with the same resources. CeDo now has a robust foundation for future optimization, with expected further gains in customer service and inventory levels as it expands use of RELEX Solutions.
