Baby Bunting, Australia’s largest nursery retailer founded in 1979, operates 60+ stores and a growing online channel. The promotion‑heavy business struggled with disconnected, manual store-level ordering and siloed DC planning, which caused over‑ordering of regular items, stockouts during promotions and seasonal spikes, and limited supplier visibility.

To fix this, Baby Bunting implemented RELEX’s centralized demand forecasting, replenishment, allocation and promotion forecasting to automate ordering and unify planning. The project eliminated manual store ordering, improved availability by 7% (to as high as 94%), reduced inventory value by 8% in like‑for‑like stores, improved promotional allocation, freed staff to focus on customers, and created a scalable platform for expansion and ecommerce growth.
