Ametller Origen Group Improving Availability and Sustainability Through Centralized Replenishment

Ametller Origen Group is a Catalonia-based grocery retailer (111 stores, three DCs) founded in 2001, vertically integrated with its own farmlands and central kitchen to deliver high-quality fresh and packaged foods. Rapid ~19% year-over-year growth and a COVID-driven surge in online sales exposed weaknesses in decentralized, manual replenishment and inventory planning, creating risks to on-shelf availability, inventory control and fresh-product spoilage.

After selecting RELEX for AI-driven demand forecasting and replenishment, Ametller Origen piloted the solution in August 2019 and quickly scaled it across all stores and DCs.
