Vestas, a global wind turbine manufacturer, needed a better way to reach and engage its 29,000 employees worldwide, especially frontline and non-desk workers. Its existing communication methods were limited, outdated, and hard to access, creating challenges around information flow, language barriers, and a sense of belonging across a diverse workforce. Relesys provided the MyVestas employee communication app to help solve these internal communication and culture challenges.
With Relesys’ MyVestas platform, Vestas created a tailored, mobile-first hub for news, tools, safety information, feedback, chat, and local content across factories. The solution enabled two-way dialogue and a stronger company culture, with measurable impact including 86% app adoption, up to 76% monthly active users, and more than 90% of users saying they were happy with the app. Relesys also helped Vestas build a scalable model with local app owners and ongoing collaboration between HQ and factories.
