Veritone's Integration With Relativity Cut Audio Data by 99%+ And Saved Their Client $16.5 Million

Veritone was engaged by a client facing a TCPA lawsuit and needed to review 33,000 hours of audio to find material relevant to alleged automated calls — a task that would have cost the client millions under a traditional review. To address this multimedia review challenge, Veritone integrated its aiWARE transcription and NLP capabilities with vendor Relativity’s platform.

Using the Veritone–Relativity integration, Veritone culled the dataset from 33,000 hours to 140 hours (a reduction of more than 99%) and processed those files in Relativity with Veritone’s multiple NLP engines (accuracy >90%). The transcriptions enabled keyword searches and review within hours, saving the client an estimated $16.5 million and accelerating legal and compliance decision-making.
