How Canadian Law Firm BLG Drives Innovation in e-Discovery (and Beyond) with the Cloud

Borden Ladner Gervais, Canada’s largest full‑service law firm, needed to modernize and scale its e‑discovery practice and embed innovation firmwide to meet increasingly demanding clients. To streamline workflows, break down silos, and extend discovery capabilities beyond litigation, the firm partnered with Relativity and adopted the RelativityOne SaaS platform.

Relativity helped Borden Ladner Gervais migrate almost 600 workspaces — moving over 27 TB of data in a three‑month period and now hosting around 45 TB — while providing the training, direction, and support to stay on track. The move to RelativityOne accelerated discovery, enabled reuse of the platform across practice areas, and created capacity to build custom apps for client problems, making Relativity a core part of BLG’s innovation strategy.
