Associates in Dermatology, a five-location dermatology group in Louisville, Kentucky, needed a flexible digital patient messaging strategy to reduce no-shows, strengthen their online presence, streamline workflows, and simplify outreach reporting for quality programs like NCQA’s PCSP. On R1’s recommendation they engaged Relatient in 2017, initially implementing Relatient’s bi-directional appointment reminders to tackle missed visits and support growth and onboarding.

Relatient expanded the practice’s program with mobile-first patient surveys, MDpay mobile payments and patient balance messaging, health campaigns, and integration with their Allscripts PM, automating outreach and reporting. As a result Relatient helped Associates in Dermatology achieve a 21% decrease in no-shows, a rise in average online rating from 3.8 to 4.9 (a 30% increase), and a 27% increase in revenue, while also simplifying compliance reporting and reducing manual work.
