Solar Team Twente from Twente University is competing in the World Solar Challenge (Darwin to Adelaide, 6–13 October) with a university-built solar car. Relatics is sponsoring the team and providing the platform they use to manage all car components, requirements and verifications. The core challenge is optimizing driving strategy in real time by balancing power generation and consumption based on weather forecasts and remaining battery capacity, with support from data streamed to escort cars.

By using Relatics to structure the vehicle data and verification records, the team can feed reliable inputs into their strategy software and make faster, better-informed decisions on optimal speed and energy use.
