Relatics supports Sydney Metro information management

Systems Connect, a CPB Contractors–UGL joint venture delivering Line‑wide systems for the Sydney Metro City & Southwest project, faced massive information‑management challenges across hundreds of stakeholders and complex technical interfaces. The project’s scale — 31 stations and 66 km of metro — produced large volumes of interrelated data in multiple formats, creating risks from versioning errors, poor traceability and slow information exchange that could delay delivery and increase cost.

Systems Connect adopted Relatics as a centralized, data‑driven platform to store semantic, hierarchical project data, provide real‑time updates, configurable dashboards and automated interface reports, and share a single source of truth with other contractors. The result: faster, more reliable access to up‑to‑date information, improved collaboration and decision‑making, clearer progress tracking, reduced version‑control errors, and measurable efficiency gains across the project.
