Relatics puts Systems Connect in control of interface management on the Sydney Metro City and Southwest project

Systems Connect, the CPB Contractors–UGL joint venture delivering line‑wide systems for the Sydney Metro extension, faced a huge interface‑management challenge: coordinating dozens of contractors, thousands of drawings and specifications, and complex multi‑system integrations. Spreadsheets proved unreliable for this scale, so the team needed a single, online, auditable and highly customizable repository that everyone could access for transparent, trusted information.

Systems Connect selected Relatics, rapidly building and tailoring an information model and interfaces and integrating with Power BI (with plans for Primavera P6 and TeamBinder). The platform, used by ~30 core and ~180 casual users, delivered significant efficiency gains, real‑time project insight, stronger process control, better collaboration and verifiable data that gives the client transparent progress and improves decision‑making and delivery.
