Relatics enables Dura Vermeer and Movares to deliver the complex project ‘Zevenaar Integrated Railway’

Relatics supported Dura Vermeer (main contractor) and Movares (design coordinator) in delivering the Zevenaar Integrated Railway, a multidisciplinary upgrade to enable more and faster trains. The project involved complex technical interfaces—an innovative voltage lock, ERTMS conversion, new safety systems and cross-border coordination with Deutsche Bahn—plus hundreds of subcontractors, strict contract requirements and large volumes of designs, changes and verification evidence to manage.

Using Relatics’ cloud platform as a single source of truth, the teams centralized interface and requirements management, tracked design changes and handled verification/validation digitally, including audits by external parties. The result was better control and “first-time-right” quality, fewer mistakes, real-time access to correct information, faster and more predictable deliverables (and payments), reduced failure costs and stronger compliance—helping both firms digitize and future-proof their processes.
