Nijmegen Municipal Authority accelerates the testing process for a new city bridge

Nijmegen Municipal Authority needed to accelerate testing and quality control for the new De Oversteek city bridge, delivered by Bouwcombinatie Stadsbrug Nijmegen (BSN: BAM Civiel & Max Bögl Nederland). The project involved complex information flows between client, supplier and third parties, and required reliable, transparent contract management to link requirements, risks and test results across design, execution and delivery phases.

The authority implemented Relatics for system-based contract management, centralising requirements, tests, risk records, workflows and reports in a single web-based environment (with supplier view). This gave clear traceability between risks, tests and contract documents, sped up testing and delivery decisions, improved accuracy of payment recommendations, and reduced time and costs by enabling earlier detection and resolution of issues.
