Improving traffic flow around largest knowledge cluster in the Netherlands

The Municipality of Leiden used Relatics to manage requirements for the "Ontsluiting van het Bio Science Park" (OBSP) project, aimed at improving access to the Netherlands' largest knowledge cluster — a site regarded as a European leader in bioscience. The challenge was to sustainably relieve congestion and better integrate the Bio Science Park into Leiden’s main transport structure.

The solution comprised building a new crossing on Plesmanlaan and a redesigned entrance to the Bio Science Park, guided by structured requirements management in Relatics. These measures provide a sustainable improvement to traffic flow in this part of Leiden’s network and strengthen the park’s connectivity within the city.
