AI generates personal recommendations in Advania’s new intranet

Advania, a comprehensive IT solutions provider, required a new, user-friendly intranet to replace its inefficient and difficult-to-navigate old system. Their challenge was to create a digital workplace where employees could easily find information, with the goals of reducing internal administrative emails for HR and the service desk and improving the onboarding process for new hires. To address this, they partnered with the vendor Rek.ai.

Rek.ai implemented an AI-powered intranet solution featuring personalized content recommendations based on an employee's role and department, along with improved search and navigation. The results were highly positive, with employees finding it much easier to locate information. The internal administrative emails for HR and the service desk decreased as planned. Furthermore, Advania’s goal of having 80% of employees log in within six months was achieved shortly after the Rek.ai intranet went live.
