The Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), through its Department of Management & Administration (DMA), faced a burdensome, 40+ year-old set of disjointed legacy systems that produced manual, duplicative workflows, poor pipeline visibility, and no authoritative data source. REI Systems was engaged to modernize OPIC’s web-based enterprise solutions by migrating them to the Insight Platform implemented with Salesforce.com.

REI Systems delivered an Agile, cloud-based migration—building applications such as IOTA and FOCUS and consolidating iFUNDS and POM into a single Insight dashboard—while executing full loan-portfolio migrations from the legacy APPX system. Over an 8-year engagement with a 10-person REI team, the project earned a Special Act of Service award for the successful data migrations and produced measurable results: a 2016 DMA survey of 200 employees reported 90% active system usage and 96% satisfaction with Insight’s data transparency.
