The Louisiana Community and Technical College System (LCTCS), which oversees all 13 public two-year institutions in Louisiana, struggled with inefficient, paper-based grants processes that made application review take four to five hours, caused reconciliation problems at audits, and produced inconsistent, error-prone, and costly operations. To modernize its grants lifecycle, LCTCS engaged REI Systems to deploy GovGrants, REI Systems' configurable Salesforce-based grants management solution.
REI Systems implemented GovGrants to automate workflows, integrate with LCTCS's financial system, and provide consolidated reporting and dashboards with automated state and federal reporting. The solution substantially reduced manual data entry and errors, cut application review time by more than half, and gave grants managers timely reporting and corrective-action capabilities—results LCTCS attributes to REI Systems' implementation and ongoing support.
