Case Study: Department of Homeland Security achieves centralized, rapid performance reporting with REI Systems' Management Cube

A REI Systems Case Study

Preview of the Department of Homeland Security Case Study

Department of Homeland Security - Customer Case Study

The Department of Homeland Security’s Management Directorate needed to consolidate disparate agency data and dramatically speed up reporting and performance analysis. REI Systems responded under a 3‑year contract (2012–2015), developing the Management Cube to centralize financial, acquisition, human capital, procurement, asset, and security data; the project team included nine REI Systems employees.

REI Systems implemented the Management Cube using open‑source software and an Agile approach, delivering a single dashboard with reporting, visualization, and rapid performance analysis that reduced multi‑system reporting workflows from weeks to days. The solution drew praise from Acting Under Secretary Chris Cummiskey for advancing enterprise business intelligence and was a Top 8 Finalist in the 2015 ACT‑IAC Igniting Innovation Awards.
