Verizon has More than a Million Reasons to Believe that Learning is Good, But Learning with Practice is Better

Verizon, the global telecommunications company, needed a scalable way to quickly train retail sales employees on new products and features across more than 1,600 U.S. stores. To help employees better explain complex offerings to customers, Verizon turned to Rehearsal and its Practice Platform to add practice-based learning to its existing training program.

Using Rehearsal’s Practice Platform, Verizon had employees complete video role-play scenarios, upload responses, and receive manager or coach feedback before resubmitting improved versions. The pilot group saw measurable gains, including a 71% increase in gross adds among 515 employees who completed two or more role plays, and Verizon calculated an overall ROI of 749%, equal to $1.39M in added revenue over three months.
