ICTS Europe Systems, a provider of technology-based travel solutions for the global aviation industry, sought to optimize passenger efficiency and reduce human workload during identity document processing. To meet this challenge, the company integrated the Regula 7029 document verification workstation from vendor Regula.

The solution implemented by Regula involved deploying over 80 of their 7029 devices, which automatically read and verify a wide array of IDs using multiple light sources and data extraction methods. This integration with ICTS's existing TravelDoc solution dramatically reduced the ID processing time to just three seconds per document. The results for ICTS Europe Systems included a significant decrease in human workload and an overall faster check-in and boarding experience for hundreds of millions of air passengers.
